Hi, it's April;
I'm 12 years old and love to write fantasy, fiction, and dystopian.
I love the “&” sign, for a reason I have yet to figure out.
non noveling interests:
clarinet, singing loudly, track, soccer, dancing badly, & misc.
Forever a dreamer, my head is stuck in the clouds. However, I always say: “But the view is better up there, right?”
does anyone else remember this movie? because i do. up up and away!
so, as you can probably tell by the title of this post, im doing a tag. and if your reading this, you also probably know that this blog is called the writing writers. or you don’t. i dunno. IM NOT A MIND READER STOP THE PRESSURE OK?
well, every writer knows an essential part of our craft is reading. DEVOUR ALL THE BOOKS.
well, I should probably get to the actual post and stop boring you all with gif’s, right? so, without further ado…
i actually really REALLY like this graphic but i forgot to watermark it and oops
most expensive book? most inexpensive?
inexpensive: my black beauty book that was FREE (because i am cheap/broke) from my cousin and also I LOVE THAT BOOK SO GO READ IT. NOW. *waits*
expensive: i do not know. uh… probably the harry potter series because there’s EIGHT of them in hardcover and good condition. BUT WHO CAN WRITE 8 LIKE 500 PAGE BOOKS PLUS SPINOFFS TELL ME YOUR SECRETS.
what author do you have a love/hate relationship with?
i don’t really have any… i rarely pay attention to author names cause i read so much and only look if i really like the book.
thats just who i am. anyone remember that disney series?? or am i old now.
guilty pleasure read?
okay. well. there have been a lot of these. so in third grade i shamelessly read lunch money about sixteen times in a row. no joke. and then i used to read the harry potter books alot at 10. now i have been re-reading brown girl dreaming and i love it so so so much.
a book you haven’t read due to laziness?
well. i still haven’t finished the lunar chronicles which makes me a Very Bad April who needs to do that right- ooh, chocolate!
what book do you talk about to make it sound like you know all the secrets?
hm… any book with big Fancy Words so I sound Smart like all the Intelligent Readers. so like Shakespeare cause he has all the Respect and just say a few quotes and your set for Life.
what attributes do you find attractive in a character?
i dunno. i dont really have fictional crushes from books. but if they’re sarcastic, as i am, that definitely helps!
what book would you like as a gift if you are broke like me?
i’d say… Locomotion by Jaqueline Woodson because I’ve heard it is similar to brown girl dreaming and as you know I LOVE THAT BOOK. or maybe Heartless by Marissa Meyer because Queens are Cool.
everyone who comments talking about how awesome i am, there’s lots of evidence to choose from. JUUUUUST KIDDING. or am i?
no, if you want to do this, by all means do it! it was super fun.
